Below is our step-by-step guide on how to comply with pre-treatment of waste:

Audit your waste to see what can and can't be separated for recycling. If you already recycle some waste, Viridor can help you identify what else could be recycled.

Separating your waste into different bins for recyclables and non recyclables is important. Does this present problems? If so Viridor can help.
Do you have enough space for multiple bins? If not, it may be possible to supply you with smaller bins and/or increase how often they are emptied?
If your waste services provider hasn't contacted you about the changes call Viridor and we'll be happy to talk you through how we can help.
Make sure you have a recycling policy and tell everyone in your organisation about it. Also tell them about changes regarding pre-treatment so that they understand the implications for the business.
